The vision for Kokoon began in 2007. Drawing on decades of experience in different industries, he transformed that idea into a multi-million-dollar company delivering elite-level wellness and medical services, focusing on measurable results.

 

Built from Personal Struggles

 

The path toward health innovation was not straightforward. In 2000, Per Jacob experienced a personal tragedy when he was attacked with an iron bar. The injuries required more than a dozen surgeries over the years, with the most recent taking place in 2022. When traditional treatments failed to resolve the infection, he turned to his knowledge of discipline, sports science, and trusted experts.

 

He committed to training six days a week, gradually rebuilding his strength. The lessons he learned during that recovery deepened in 2006–2007, when he used alternate methods to help extend his mother’s life by more than 15 years. Those experiences convinced him there was a better way to care for people, which became the foundation of Kokoon.

 

Coaching Roots That Shaped a Leader

 

Before launching Kokoon, Per Jacob Solli spent years coaching European high-performance soccer teams. Working in such high-pressure environments taught him to adapt quickly, remain focused under pressure, and manage people with varied personalities and goals.

 

In the coaching world, success requires both individual development and team achievement. These principles were carried into his business leadership, guiding him in building strong teams, making decisive moves under pressure, and keeping the focus on shared objectives.

During the COVID-19 lockdowns in Spain, while most paused operations, he opened new facilities and turned a period of uncertainty into an opportunity for growth. This ability to pivot quickly has kept Kokoon ahead in a challenging industry.

The healthcare industry can resist change, and he has faced significant challenges, including smear campaigns, online attacks, and two serious takeover attempts of Kokoon. None of these succeeded.

 

He used these challenges to strengthen his resolve, supported by his family, legal advisors, and business allies. Through it all, Kokoon has remained answerable only to its mission and has not compromised its principles.

 

Grounded in Family, Driven by Legacy

 

Despite running a global business, he stays grounded in family values. He is the father of two children—a daughter and a son in their early 30s—whom he considers his most outstanding achievements. Kokoon is part of the legacy he wants to leave for them.

 

His work often takes him between Norway and the United States, but no matter the demands of his schedule, he keeps his purpose clear: to create a better future for his children and every family Kokoon can reach.

 

Growing Without Limits

 

Kokoon’s expansion is ongoing. In May 2025, construction began on a primary Canary Islands clinic, which will house 23 surgical rooms and pave the way for larger developments. This project will help fund and accelerate the Miami Medical Resort, a unique concept combining luxury living with medical care.

 

The company also plans to open satellite centers in every U.S. state, followed by dual stock exchange listings in Norway and the United States. These developments reflect how far Kokoon has come and its potential for the future.

 

A key factor in Kokoon’s success is its independence from corruption or compromise. Operating strictly within cash flow limits keeps the company agile and focused on delivering value for its investors and clients.
